About these terms
- These terms of use (the “Terms”) explain the rules for using the Website.
- By using the Website, you confirm that you accept these Terms and agree to comply with them.
- If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Website.
- If you use the Website on behalf of a business or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.
- We recommend that you save or print a copy of these Terms for future reference.
Other documents that apply
These Terms work alongside the following documents, which also apply to your use of the Website:
- Privacy Policy: explains how we use personal data we collect from you, including how we use cookies and similar technologies on the Website.
Our services are not provided under these Terms. Any consulting, audit, compliance, penetration testing, software development or other professional services we provide are governed exclusively by a separate written agreement (such as a proposal, statement of work or service agreement) signed by you and us. If there is any conflict between these Terms and that agreement, that agreement takes priority.
Changes to these Terms and to the Website
- We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when they were last changed.
- Please check this page each time you use the Website. The Terms in force at the time you use the Website will apply.
- We may update or change the Website at any time, for example to reflect changes to our services, our clients’ needs or our business priorities.
- The services described on the Website may change over time. We may add, change or withdraw services without notice, and a description of a service on the Website is not an offer to provide it.
Accessing the Website
- The Website is made available free of charge.
- We do not guarantee that the Website, or any content on it, will always be available or uninterrupted.
- We may suspend, withdraw or restrict the availability of all or any part of the Website for business or operational reasons. We will try to give reasonable notice of any suspension or withdrawal.
- You are responsible for making all arrangements necessary to access the Website, including your own internet connection and equipment.
- The Website is intended for business users and for people aged 18 and over. It is not directed at children.
Information on the Website is not professional advice
- The content on the Website, including articles, guides, checklists, case studies and blog posts, is provided for general information only.
- It does not constitute legal, regulatory, security, financial or other professional advice, and it does not take into account your particular circumstances.
- You must obtain professional or specialist advice before taking, or refraining from, any action based on content on the Website.
- Although we make reasonable efforts to keep the Website up to date, we make no representation, warranty or guarantee, express or implied, that the content is accurate, complete or current. Regulatory requirements, platform policies (including Amazon’s) and security standards change frequently.
- No guarantee of outcomes. References to past client results, audit outcomes, pass rates or similar achievements describe historical experience only. They are not a promise or guarantee of any particular outcome for you. The outcome of any third-party audit, assessment, review or certification is decided by that third party, not by us.
Third-party trademarks and independence
- Amazon. Amazon, Amazon Selling Partner API, SP-API and related names and logos are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates. Nevatech is an independent consultancy. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or acting on behalf of Amazon. Amazon makes all decisions about access to its APIs and the outcome of its security assessments.
- Standards and certification bodies. ISO, ISO/IEC 27001 and other standards are the property of their respective owners. Nevatech does not issue ISO certificates. Where we help clients prepare for certification, the certification audit and decision are carried out by an independent, accredited certification body.
- Other product names, brands and logos referred to on the Website belong to their respective owners. Their use on the Website does not imply any affiliation with, or endorsement by, them.

Security testing and responsible disclosure
As a security consultancy, we welcome reports from people who believe they have found a security vulnerability in the Website.
What is not permitted
- You must not carry out any security testing of the Website or our systems, including vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, brute-force attempts, social engineering or denial-of-service testing, unless we have given you prior written authorisation.
- Unauthorised access to, or interference with, computer systems may be a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990 and equivalent laws elsewhere. We will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and we will co-operate with those authorities.
How to report a vulnerability
- If you discover a potential vulnerability in the course of normal use of the Website, please report it to security@nevatech.co.uk. Our security.txt file has the details.
- Please include enough detail for us to understand and reproduce the issue.
- Please do not access, modify or delete data that does not belong to you, do not degrade the Website for other users, and do not disclose the issue publicly until we have had a reasonable opportunity to fix it.
- We will acknowledge valid reports and keep you informed of our progress where appropriate. We do not currently operate a paid bug bounty programme.
Intellectual property
- We are the owner or licensee of all intellectual property rights in the Website and in the material published on it, including text, graphics, logos, designs, documents, templates, methodologies and software. These works are protected by copyright and other laws around the world. All such rights are reserved.
- You may view the Website and print or download extracts for your own internal business reference. You may share content from the Website with others in your organisation.
- You must not modify the paper or digital copies of any materials you have printed or downloaded, and you must not use any illustrations, photographs, video, audio or graphics separately from any accompanying text.
- Our status (and that of any identified contributors) as the authors of content on the Website must always be acknowledged.
- You must not use any part of the content on the Website for commercial purposes, including republishing it or incorporating it into your own products, templates or services, without obtaining a licence to do so from us.
- “Nevatech”, our logo and our other branding are our trademarks. You must not use them without our prior written permission.
- If you print, copy or download any part of the Website in breach of these Terms, your right to use the Website will cease immediately and you must, at our option, return or destroy any copies of the materials you have made.
Information you send us
- When you contact us through the Website, for example using our enquiry form or by email, we will use the information you provide in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- Please do not send confidential or sensitive information through the Website. This includes system credentials, API keys, access tokens, security reports, source code, customer data or details of security incidents. If an engagement requires this information, we will agree a secure method of sharing it, usually under a confidentiality or service agreement.
- Unless we have agreed otherwise in writing, an enquiry or submission does not create a client relationship, and information you send through the Website is not treated as confidential under any professional duty.
- If you send us ideas, suggestions or feedback, you agree that we may use them without any obligation to you.
Third-party links and resources
- Where the Website contains links to other sites and resources provided by third parties, these links are provided for your information only.
- Such links should not be interpreted as approval by us of those linked websites or the information you may obtain from them.
- We have no control over the content of those sites or resources and are not responsible for them, or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them. Your use of third-party sites is subject to their own terms and policies.
Linking to the Website
- You may link to our home page, provided you do so in a way that is fair and legal and does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it.
- You must not establish a link in such a way as to suggest any form of association, approval or endorsement on our part where none exists.
- You must not establish a link to the Website in any website that is not owned by you.
- The Website must not be framed on any other site.
- We reserve the right to withdraw linking permission without notice.
Viruses and security
- We use reasonable measures to keep the Website secure, but we do not guarantee that the Website will be secure or free from bugs or viruses.
- You are responsible for configuring your information technology, computer programs and platform to access the Website. You should use your own virus protection software.
Our responsibility for loss or damage
What we do not exclude
- Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law.
If you are a business user
- We exclude all implied conditions, warranties, representations or other terms that may apply to the Website or any content on it, to the extent permitted by law.
- We will not be liable to you for any loss or damage, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, even if foreseeable, arising under or in connection with:
- use of, or inability to use, the Website; or
- use of or reliance on any content displayed on the Website.
- In particular, we will not be liable for:
- loss of profits, sales, business or revenue;
- business interruption;
- loss of anticipated savings;
- loss of business opportunity, goodwill or reputation;
- loss or corruption of data; or
- any indirect or consequential loss or damage.
- Subject to the paragraph headed “What we do not exclude”, our total liability to you arising from your use of the Website (as opposed to any services provided under a separate agreement) will not exceed £100.
If you are a consumer
- The Website is intended for business use. If you nevertheless use it as a consumer, we only provide the Website for domestic and private use, and nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.
- We are not liable for business losses. If you use the Website for any commercial, business or resale purpose, we will have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.
Services
- Our liability in connection with any services we provide is governed solely by the separate agreement for those services.
Suspension and termination
- We may suspend or terminate your access to the Website at any time if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms.
- If you breach Section 8 (Acceptable use) or Section 9 (Security testing and responsible disclosure), we may also take any other action we consider appropriate, including legal action and reporting the matter to the relevant authorities.
General
- Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
- No waiver. If we do not insist that you perform any of your obligations under these Terms, or if we delay in enforcing our rights, that will not mean we have waived our rights.
- Transfer. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another organisation. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent.
- Third-party rights. These Terms are between you and us. No other person has any right to enforce any of their terms, whether under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 or otherwise.
- Language. These Terms are written in English. If we provide a translation, the English version prevails in the event of any inconsistency.
Governing law and jurisdiction
- These Terms, their subject matter and their formation, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes or claims), are governed by the law of England and Wales.
- Business users: the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
- Consumers: the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
